UPDATE......Monday 30/3. I'm afraid that there are now many more people registered for box delivery than we could ever hope to deliver. Many thanks to you all and I'm really sorry that we don't have the resources to get round you all. We're now closing the registration option. Keep safe everybody.

The Box

The box will only come in two sizes – medium and large – priced at £15 and £20 respectively.

You won’t be able to personalise your box I'm afraid - it'll be a good mix of fresh fruit and vegetables with all the usual things you'd expect.

There is a range of add ons – four different dried goods, a couple of tinned items, fresh bread and eggs. These are only available in the quantities indicated on the drop down menu as we don’t have the stock/capacity to offer these in larger numbers.

Delivery

You won’t be able to choose a specific delivery slot but we will email you a day or two in advance to say when your delivery will be. We will be delivering Tue – Fri - and (given the situation) we will assume someone will be in.

At the current time we’re only delivering locally to certain postcodes...again bear with us.

Delivery will be to the front door only - we'll make sure you know the delivery is there and leave you to it. If you’re in a flat we’ll ring your buzzer and let you know we've been. Safety first.

If you're an NHS worker and need a more specific delivery slot we'll obviously accommodate you.

Payment

Due to safety considerations payment is on-line only - you'll be emailed a PayPal link.

There will be an additional £2 delivery charge which will be donated to Edinburgh Helping Hands community charity for use to support their local foodbanks.

Lastly

Lastly please be aware that by registering your interest there's no guarantee we'll get a box to you this week or at any point - our resources are limited and we're sticking to a small team to keep ourselves safe. We'll be doing what we can but it's likely that demand will be greater than we can possibly meet - apologies in advance to some of you. If we're able to get you some veg then we'll email you a confirmation and payment link asap. Once you're signed up we'll do this every week. As we can we'll add capacity weekly on a first come first served basis from the waiting list.

That’s a lot of detail for a simple veg box scheme but hopefully all makes sense. Apologies if the above means this isn’t for you – the aim at the moment is to get to as many folk as we can and that means keeping it simple.
